Dear Lovers of Libations, Seekers of Spirits, and Tipplers of Taste,

Prepare your palates and polish your glasses—Dymon Wine Cellar invites you to a deliciously whimsical evening that promises more twists than a corkscrew at a dinner party. On Thursday, May 30th, from 6 PM to 9 PM, we’re throwing open the cellar doors and hosting a magical tasting of wine, gin, and whiskey—and you're most cordially invited.

Admission is just $30, which, let’s be honest, is a steal for a globetrotting experience in three sips or less.

ACT I: WINE WISDOM WITH GRADWELL WINES

Enter: Sean Rowlands, a man with more sommelier certifications than you have wine corks saved for DIY Pinterest projects. Born amidst the vineyards of Constantia, South Africa, and now founder of Gradwell Wines (est. 2012), Sean has spent the last decade sniffing, swirling, and storytelling his way around the globe.

Gradwell’s mission? To uncover wines that delight the everyday drinker and charm the crustiest cellar snob. Whether you want a bubbly companion for a Tuesday night bath or a brooding red for your brooding ex, Sean has something in his enchanted bottle bag for you.

And yes, he’s tasted every single wine in his portfolio, presumably with one pinky raised and a twinkle in his eye.

ACT II: THE TALE OF THE GIN THAT GOT AWAY

Once upon a time, in a damp English dream and an even damper pub, someone dared to dream up a gin—Asian Parsnip Gin, no less. Parsnip, for the homeland; Asian spices, for the spice of life. What began as a whimsical experiment quickly spiraled into a gin-fuelled monster, powered by a partnership with the brilliant Hugh Anderson of Downton Distillery.

The result? A spirit that’s equal parts mischief, madness, and mastery. A gin so rare, it sold out before it even reached the bar it was destined for. Like all good origin stories, this one ends with a flourish of triumph and a whisper of juniper.

Expect botanical surprises, cautionary tales of over-lemoning, and a chance to meet the gin that couldn’t be tamed.

ACT III: WHISKEY WITH WILD HEARTS – NATTERJACK

Cue the dramatic music. Enter: Natterjack Irish Whiskey, the bold lovechild of rebellion, artistry, and a toad. (Yes, a toad—but more on that in person.)

Born of the “let’s-do-it-differently” spirit, Natterjack is a whiskey crafted by pioneers, not boardrooms. It’s rich, roguish, and full of swagger—like Hemingway in a leather jacket. It’s also your golden ticket to tasting a new tradition, one sip at a time.

Drink it, and you may very well feel braver, bolder, and possibly ready to challenge the status quo. Or at least karaoke.
